Im not religious but i was was brought up to learn about religions.

Science is very interesting and religion is too. The problem is that some people follow what is not true 'just to be popular' or to make money. They slow down our civilization.

Religion and Science are intertwined. I am fascinated by all the accounts in the Bible (and Hindu texts) about vehicles coming down from the sky, beings exiting them and talking to humans etc, from 1,000's of years ago.
This fact is irrefutable if you read the Bible but most people who claim to be religious deny it and yet it is there in black and white, and is near impossible to misinterpretate. It's just word for word in the Bible that we have been visited often.
The same is true of some so called scientists. Many believe they become a scientist when they get a piece of paper from a university, the underlining meaning of which states they have believed everything they have been told, in a matter of speaking, and yet they are incapable of seeking truth, which science 'is the pursuit of'.

Understand ?

I participate regularly and I am a firm believer in God. I like to think that science and God go hand in hand. Allow me to illustrate just one example:

The Bible says that God created the universe in 7 days. Well according to scientific research this would be impossible. But how do we know what a day is to God? In God's realm, 1 day could equal 1,000,000,000 Earth years.

No matter what your theory of how the Universe was formed, there is ALWAYS the question... "Ok, so what was before that?"

I go back and forth between the religious section and here I've always been very curious in life and my childhood dream was to be a test pilot or a scientist probably in the field of Entomology, I'm Christian.

Space and Astronomy section does not require any religion. It is just a superstitious belief(i believe it is just superstitious).
