I would guess it's the Bald Eagle if you're talking the "National Animal" - now if it's the State then it's the horse, Equus caballus, so designated in Chapter 173 of the Laws of 1977. Governor Brendan T. Byrne signed the law August 14, 1977, while attending the farm and horse show at Augusta, Sussex County.

The National Anthem of New Jersey is the same as it is in the rest of the nation...The Star Spangled Banner. It's a state, it doesn't have it's own National Anthem

I would say that NJ is a state, and thus doesn't have a national animal. Good try though.
