i dont think she needs to sue, she should contact them and tell them what happened, and they will most likely ship her a replacement

my friend has a dell and she has gotten so screwed by them...her laptop is messed up (her fault, no dell's) but it has been 2 months now since she has sent it in to pay to have it fixed....they keep sending invoices to the wrong address....she keeps trying to get them to change her address in their system....the person on the phone says, 'ok, your address has been updated!' but it still never changes....finally they sent out her laptop...to the wrong address....also my sister in law has a dell and she says it is SO hard to talk to them...she had tech issues and had the hardest time getting through to get help...and when she finally did, the people never spoke good english, so it was difficult. bottom line- "Dude! Don't get a Dell!"

Call Dell and explain the problem - they have pretty good customer service if you are firm with them.

what's the point of suing?, if dell gave you a defective computer it's dell responsibility to fix that problem.
