There is no set age when a guy starts shaving, as each guys' genetics are different. If you want to trim up your mustache; go for it.
Go buy yourself some razors & shaving cream. Wash your face first. The warm water will soften the hair & make shaving easier. Keep your face wet after washing it.
Shake shaving cream; apply to hand & then wipe over your face where you'll be shaving.
When you shave, use firm but gentle strokes. On your mustache, you will stroke downward.
One face, go downward. Never go against the hairs. While shaving against the grain will give you a closer shave, it will also increase the possibility of ingrown hairs, where hair starts growing under your skin & gets trapped. It turns into a type of pimple.
Once you're satisfied with your shave, rinse your face & dry it. You may want to use some kind of facial lotion, as shaving does irritate the skin.
Neotrogena makes good products.
You can also buy yourself a pair of small scissors, & you can trim your mustache with them.

Razors can be bought in most supermarkets and chemists. Using shaving foam or gel before a shaving will help reduce any irritation caused to your skin by shaving.....Also good idea to get yourself some aftershave balm for when your done, its not uncommon for boys to start shaving from around age 11+ so hey its your choice if you feel you need to shave then go ahead.

I started shaving at 13, if you have facial hair and don't want a beard, start shaving. Buy a pack of disposable razors or a good razor with disposable blades, and some better quality shave gel like Edge and start your life long work.

If it REALLY bothers you then shave - but if its not too bad and doesnt REALLY bother you then just leave it as late as you can - you have SOOO many years ahead of you for shaving! If you do decide to shave: remember that your skin is very sensitive cos you're still young so shaving may cause irritaiton. use a very gentle shaving cream and a good moisturiser afterwards

Shave it. I know the look that you are talking about. Shave it. Like the stasche below. Age/sex it doesn't matter. Shave it when it becomes visible, yet won't grow into a real stasche. Especially if you don't like it...

Time for you to ask for an electric razor from santa. If you don't like it shave it off. Go ask your dad that's what he's there for. My dad taught me to shave.
