I went to a Halloween party at a gay bar last night, and there was a guy there dressed up as an alien. I approached him and asked him if he'd done any anal probing lately...was I too forward?

Were you drunk? If yes than you weren't to forward. And plus depends how the alien took it. Maybe he/she didn't think it was too forward, maybe he/she thought it was hilarious. Who knows but in my mind I think it was too forward and maybe a bit hilarious considering he was dressed like an alien at a gay bar.
