No, not even by a long shot. Rey is going to be out of action for several months due to a knee injury stemming from a brutal I quit match with Chavo about a week and a half ago.

No, it's just part of a storyline. He is going to be out of action for about 6 months and then will (hopefully) join Raw when he gets back.

Nah, He will be back after 6 months or so, he will have a surgery and then spend sometime with his family, have a party a Chavo's house and then be back :)

the story line is to set up a 6 month break period to recover from surgery he will be back no matter what he says on smackdown this week

I would guess no. He is just way too good at his job too quit this early. I figure he's still got at least another good five years in him. He might just be taking time off too take acting lessons.
