Title: Lucky Number Slevin
Director: Paul McGuigan
Produced by: A.J. Dix, William Shively, Don Carmody

Why:
The best word to describe this movie would be the word clever. But as one of my friends so graciously uttered while walking out of the theatre, "Lucky Number Slevin brings the word clever to a new maximum."

This movie has everything that you could want in it. Great comedy, cool murders, hot girl (Lucy Liu), and an amazing plot that coming into the movie, absolutely no one would be able to guess what is going to happen in the end.

Though confusing at first, in the end it all comes to a great conclusion, making it one of the smartest movies of the year. If you have not seen Lucky Number Slevin yet, you should see it. It's worth it.

My grade: 9/10 *

Suppose it would ahve to be a moveie called "The 5 Masters of Death". It's an old 80's Kung fu movie from Shaw Brothers Productions out of hong kong.

I suppose what appeals most to me, besides the choreography, is the whole idea of a small group fighing for the freedom of an entire coutry and being driven to become powerful enough to defat their enemies through nothing more than force of will and determination.

Title: A Bronx Tale

Director: Robert De Niro

Why: Needless to say Robert De Niro is awesome, but aside from that I chose this movie because it has a good message behind it.

Elvis and Me
1988
Larry Peerce

i watched this when i was about 11 and i loved it for reasons unknown. When my parents split up my dad took the movie lol obviously cause it was his. Ive just gotten a copy of this year and i watch it all the time its a great story told by priscilla herself. its based on her book elvis and me. And it also shows the elvis behind closed doors the good and the bad and not just the way he treated his fans outside. But it shows him with his family and friends. Not what the media made him out to be after he was dead about all the drugs it does show him taking the pills. But he was not as bad as everyone made him out to be.

Title : Sybil

Director : Sorry, I don't know. This was originally a TV-movie, but last July
it finally came out on DVD, called : "Sybil" (30th Anniversary Two-
Disk Special Edition)

Why : The movie is created after a book, written by Flora Rheta Schreiber.
It is a real-life story about a woman who suffers from "Multi-personality
disorder" (she has 16 personalities) and the psychiatrist who finally,
after years of therapy, manages to integrate all the personalities of
Sybil and make her "ONE, WHOLE person" again.

Of course you understand Sybil isn't the real name of this woman, hoever, everything else is true.

Star Wars released in 1976 , directed by George Lucas is my favorite movie. When it was released it changed special affects in movies forever. I was just a kid , buy I went to see it in the theaters several times which I have not done since or previously. The story is great, the musical score was fantastic. It was also the breakthrough movie for Harrison Ford who had gone on to become one of the finest actors of our time.

My favorite movie would have to be Bambi and I know you think this is funny and prlly are laughing at me, but as a child I watched this movie so much I actually messed the tape up from watching it to much :( anyways I don't know the director. Sorry I am guessing with animation it didn't have one I dunno but Maybe the director was Mickey Mouse (lol ) sorry had to do that. :) The reason why would have to be because it is so cute and I guess it amazed me as a child and still even today that a movie could actually be innocent and just have a good clean fun value to it :)

The Hunt for Red October. There's so many great actors, and quotable lines in it.

Probably seen it a hundred times, but it's one of the few movies I'll never get bored of.
