I fell in love with a girl who came from a really hard ubringing. I mean pretty bad, abuse, etc.. I have been with her for 7months now, but just recently found out that my ex-gf is pregnant and due soon. I have plans on being with this girl for forever, she lights up my life. I'm worried what she might do to herself when I have to tell her. She say's I've been her salvation in a life that has been a horrible hell. I've only ever wanted for her happiness, and to feel loved. She is going to be crushed... well, I suppose I can only pray that she understands. The emotions are going to be so heavy.

I really feel for you but what I don't understand is that, did you tell your current g-fiend about your past, since you seem to know her whereabouts?If so then i think you should tell her right away b4 is too late for her to understand.And my brother, how does this happen? Did it happen b4 you break up with u'r ex or after? and if it was before why should she wait for so long before she could tell you? I would say to you find out why u'r ex waited up2this far and tell you now, b4 you burden u'rself with something that "might not" be yours.
And again if that is the case,you two (current g.frnd) should stand 2gether to go through this and u also need to know how you'll make this situation easy for each participant.
I tell u that fear is a dangerous weapon that usually prevent us from telling the truth. Conqure it and tell u'r g-frnd what is going on;don't expect her to immediately understand. Give her time to heal and give her u'r full support on this. if she decides to leave you,never give up on her,be good and caring like never b4 and this will help her come to her senses and give it a try. Remember: " True love conqures everything".
As for your ex, It's your decision on how to take care of your responsibility but prevent this from jeorpadising your lives. Don't let this ruin your lives. Be carefull to tackle it responsibly like any other man.
I wish you all the best luck and trust me, if you & u'r girlfriend truely love each other, this will come to pass. Just be strong and collect your strength to break the news. I know that no one gets what you feel right now but there's always a way out, and there's also a reason for everything.

There's no easy way to tell your current girl. If you were with the prior girl BEFORE hooking up with your current one, and there was no cheating inbetween, sit current girlfriend down and break the news that there's a possibility that your ex is carrying your child but that to find out for sure, you are going to get a paternity test done. Tell her you'll understand if she is angry with you and doesn't want to be with you anymore but you are very sorry about this and didn't want to hurt her, you honestly didn't know about the ex getting pregnant. And then FOLLOW THROUGH with that immediately after the child is born.

Make sure your ex's baby is yours!
Do sit your current girlfriend down and talk to her. If she really loves you and is willing to accept then you shouldnt have problems. Make sure you let her know if you are the father, you will only be there for your child and not the mother. Because at first this sounded like you were dumping your girlfriend.
