I am wanting to basically open a store on ebay selling computers. I would be building the computers myself using brand name parts. Everything would be there, Operating System and the whole nine yards, ready for the buyer to use when they got it. Just like buying one in Best Buy or something. I've never done anything like this though and ran into several complications. One is if you are successful, how would you keep up? Say, if you move 25 or more of them a day. How can you measure the postage costs or know how much each one will cost without taking it all the way to the post office? How does one buy anything like this in bulk or whatever? You certainly wouldn't want to buy each part retail would you? Then again, starting out I don't see how you could buy bulk. Too much money. I don't want to take out more than a couple thousand for a loan, even that's way too much. Anybody who actively sells on ebay would help

Selling on eBay is hard, especially for computers. eBay is really a wholesale website itself. The competition is extreme, and the fees are riculous. The only way people make money on eBay is if they are a large company and can buy in bulk or if you find a niche that is in high demand. I have been selling (or try to sell is more like it) for over 2 years. DO A LOT OF RESEARCH for the product you wish to sell. If you don't have an established eBay user name, you will also have a hard time getting off the ground. You need 20+ feedback to open a store.

If you wish to build computers, you would need to use USED parts and hope to resell it for a profit. Shipping can be a killer though.

If you are looking to make money, I am in need of article writers for my website. Email if interested.

Sell , you think if you build it and re-sell on ebay it's gonna be cheaper then one those on Web site Deals? I dont think so,
I am seller on ebay and i recomend you to ADD EBAY FEES + TAXes you gonna pay too , i don tthink it's good idea to build computers and re-sell it on ebay
I recommend you
1) Search for wholesale or refurbished computers dealers buy from them and sell for higher price on ebay , it's much more better
2) Make some reseach on ebay , try to search for specific computer and try to Build the same computer on your own ( calculate all expenses ) and
then you can start selling on ebay if it's profitbale
Good luck
