According to my dictionary reference the closest word could be Pruta or Prutah

Hey there,well there is no word such as prute in english language bt there are words like prune,prude,prate,etc.... Bt I guess this is wat u ain't lookn' 4.
Ummm bt elder people aged 60's-70's say prute instead of fruit. Ya true.Nt being sad or anything.lol.
