Get a wireless adapter.

You can pick the add-on at a local store for a WiFi antenna for your Xbox.

If you have broadband router with a WiFi antenna, then the Xbox should be able to pick it up.

This really depends on your current setup.

If you have wireless internet already, the easiest way is to buy a wireless adapter. It's a little pricey, but it's the easiest method.

If you're unable to run cable and you don't have wireless, you'll have to buy a wireless router and hook it up to your existing internet connection before getting a wireless adapter.

There are also other wireless options such as modifying the firmware of a Linksys WRT54GL wireless router to work as a wireless bridge. If you're interested in tinkering, there's a ton of pages you can find on Google that can tell you how to achieve this.

Another non-wireless option is to run a very long length of Ethernet cable to go from your broadband modem, router or - if your PC has an extra network port - your PC. Personally, I run a 60' length of Ethernet cable from my PC to my Xbox. (You can always get a cheap Ethernet card to give you another port, if needed)

Wi-Fi is the simplest option, its expensive but if you are planning to use xbox live then you need to have plenty of spare cash. You could use cables and they would be a faster connection but setting up will be fraught with problems, plus you will have cables trailing all over the place, as if you didn't have enough already.

If your computer is rarely switched off, you don't need a wi-fi router, I have set up an ad-hoc wireless network and my computer serves as the router.
