I had an ultra sound done on renal/bladder. extream pain in bladder going through vaginal. this is off and on for 5 months. I saw someting (dark pebble like)on the screen while i was there with an arrow pointing at it. plus another ultrasound done the next week on pelvic also another arrow poinying at somthing white and stretchy. They said it would take a week for the first test results, and it has still not come in after 1 and a half weeks. does this mean bad news, because there are tryinng to examine test more?

may simply mean the lab did much more testing than normal that week and has a back log of info to deal with, the pebble could be a kidney or bladder stone and sometimes they give you meds to help disolve them, sometimes they pass on their own, and sometimes they use lithotrypsy, and sometimes surgery. lithotrypsy is when they put you in a sort of suspended seat and aim sound waves at your body through a tank of water in which you are sitting, that breaks the stone up enough sometimes that it passes easily and with much less pain than a whole stone.
