Goldfish will eat as much as they can, but 1-2 flakes 2-3 times a day is cool. Their stomuches are the size of one of their eyes.

Feed two flakes every second day. It is much easier to overfeed a goldfish than to underfeed it. In fact, your fish will live much longer if you tend to feed it a little less. My three goldfish lived for ten years and would probably still be with me today, had I not adopted a stray cat! Some goldfish can actually live over one hundred years old. Imagine that!!!!!!

A goldfish should be fed about 2 times a day. Some goldfishes need more than it expected. So give it what it needed.I give you one more advice,if a fish stop moving it probably is sleeping. The first signal of the fish is dead is that the stomach is facing up.
