i recently had a misshap with my p.c,i was on the p.c the other day, i did a silly thing and placed my tea on top of the monitor, its the old fashioned type not the t.f.t one, well i accident knocked the tea over my monitor and it started smoking, i quickly turned the pc power off, i let it dry for a day then tried to turn it back on, it didnt work, so i got a second hand p.c from a pawn shop.so i want to know is it worth trying to get my first pc fixed as im sure my c.p.u is damaged too,or should i just dump it?

Hmmm, spilled tea on monitor and now you need a new PC?? Makes no sense....fried the monitor, probably, the PC should be unaffected.

If the tea is spill only on monitor, its only the monitor which is malfunctioning.......so just use the other monitor with the same CPU tower.
