This planets resources are being streached to the limit ppl dont think about future generations species being exterminated oceans being polluted,how are we going to survive when its all gone?

People should not be told how many children to have, how to have their family. It is their choice to share in the joy of new life; it is God's creation. I think the problem with overpopulation is that more people need to move to the country, and more people need to adopt the simple life. Why can't we live like we did before? WITHOUT all the pollution? And a point I have wanted to state for ages: businessmen should stop being SELFISH, most of all. It is their selfishness and greed, and of those with power, that are most of all DESTROYING THE EARTH.

Living within our means, cutting down on waste and recycling.
Limiting the numbers being born and also making sure that those that are living longer continue to be useful members of society (working towards a better future etc)

Yes Mankind is growing rapidly and science will need to come up with new and better ways to produce food. But there is still plenty of room for growth, it's just that people congregate in urban areas and create poor living conditions due to overcrowding.

The world is not overpopulated. It's just that so many people insist on living in large cities. And there is plenty of food to go around if governments would use their money on food production instead of on guns and bullets.

one should be allowed a limit on how many kids they can have to control the population. Many have many kids cuz they get more government money to live free...food stamps, medical and so forth. that is not right.

Over population isn't the greatest problem. That would be wastage of non-renewable resources.
