When I was a kid I was in a cafe with mum and wanted an icecream. The menu stated:
Icecream (van) - 30p
- which is very cheap far an icecream van. Mum explained it meant vanilla - dohhhh
I have a friend who is blind but she has a great sence of humour (so do I), so when we eat out I have to read the menu. In amongst all the salads, roasts and pastas I usually slip in a dead spider stroganoff, black beatle burgers or slug soup etc. I still makes her laugh and proves shes listening.
We are out yesterday and with Halloween looming they had a new menu for children. Some of the dishes included blood soup and eyeballs, mud and worm pudding, scaley fudge brownies, but I don't think they were serious.
