nobody knows what you're talking about because you have refused to give additional details. you are treating us badly.

the playstation plays games off of CDs. the playstation doesn't have the ability to write on a disc. it is not a DVR.

if it DID write/correct, it would make future plays of the game come out exactly the same.

the way you save games is on a seperate memory card, which is not the same as the playstation 1 card, when referring to ps2 cards.

ps1 games that are played in a ps2 can save on a ps1 card. it can be stored on a ps2 memory card, but you CAN'T load that file from a ps2 card, when accessing from a ps1 game.

ps2 games can only be saved on a ps2 card

The ps2 has advanced in years and has started to develop the first stage of Alsheimer's. The condition will slowly deteriorate its memorys will seem like a bunch of 1's and 0's.

I've has issues with the PS2 Memory Card not reading things if there isn't enough space, or just not updating high scores etc.

There is also a lack of memory.

Not sure other than that.

If you one memory card, buy a second . That helps a great deal.
If you have two memory cards and still have trouble, you need to go in and delete profiles from games you played a long time ago (if you want to save your "progress" make sure that you don't delete those profiles.

Without loading a game, press the enter or X button; you'll see a gray PS 2 screen. You then pick the profiles selection, scroll through the profile "heads" and start deleting away.

This will help clear up memory immensely.
