Okay...here's my two cents. Rule of thumb is that Earth signs (taurus, virgo and capricorn) are very good with water signs. Water signs tend to be emotional and impulsive and a earth sign is good at providing a stable balance to that. Scorpio needs a highly sexed sign, so taurus is the best out of that lot, stay away from virgo (they are not as sensual). Scorpio also doesn't like to be double-crossed, so again, Taurus good match here, Capricorn not so much.

The biggest "problem" is that Scorpio likes to be percievedand act powerful to the outside world in matters of business (they have great business instincts and are truly a force to be dealt with). However, they perfer to be domicile in the home, enjoy tranquilty and leave the decisions primarily to someone else.
Therefore a Scorpio needs a mate with a sense of duality, making a gemini or pisces a good potential match.

Scorpio - Pisces can be potential dangerous, due to their dual emotional natures. Two water signs together can create an easy going wave or a horrible storm, but it's always either one or another. Usually meaning when it's good it's great, but when it's bad it's really bad.

Well, my boyfriend is a Scorpio and I'm an Aries. So I vote Aries. This union is supposed to be doomed because we're both ruled by Mars (passion). We're supposed to argue alot and butt heads and neither of us back down because we're strong willed and filled with passion. This is true, we have very heated and passionate arguments, but with that passion we have other passion so it's real fun to make up. This kind of relationship is often ruled by sex and we do have a great sex life. Scorpio is a water sign and Aries is a fire sign so our relationship could fizzle out if we don't work hard at is since fire and water don't go well together. I'm always up for a challenge.
