You need to discuss this with your husband. First of all, does he agree that he does not want to hurt his children? Does he realize that his children could talk about this with other children and the they will tease him mercilessly? Then the children will be ashamed of their father. Bad news.

So, your husband needs to be more careful around the children. He could wait until they are asleep. If he only does it once every three months then he could wait until the children are away on a sleep-over or visiting relatives. Alternatively, he could wear panties or a slip under his pajamas. He could find men's tricot nylon pajamas that have the same feel as women's clothes. In any event, he needs to place the needs of his family ahead of his personal pleasures.

I am a crossdresser with a 6 4 and 2 year old sons. My wife feels the same way as you do. The key to crossdressing in a relationship is compromise. It doesn't bother my wife if I do it, the only thing she asks is that I NEVER do it in front of my children. I will often times have nylons on under my pants, but she will insist that I keep socks on as well. I will admit that I became careless about it, but she has always set me straight. And it truly isn't that much of a thing to ask, besides my children come first, and I would never want to do anything to hurt or embarrass them.

Try dressing as a man for a week with a beard and all and see how he likes it. Do it in front of the neighbors and go to his job dressed as a burly man and see how he acts when confronted with his fetish in front of people. Tell everyone what he does and do the same for a while. Then divorce this sicko and get him for everything you can. He needs to try that crossdressing in jail to see if he is really cut out for it.

Make him buy nice outfits that the two of you could wear or at least some dazzling accessories. This will decrease the expense for clothing, and give you a great chance to intearact.

If it never bothered you until now then that means you accepted him for who he was before. Just ask him to be more discreet around the kids.
