J.M. Coetzee wone the prize twice i.e. in 1983 and 1999. The other two did not win the prize.

Salman Rushdie who won in 1981 got a prize "Booker of Booker in 1993, the "Booker of Booker" for being judged the best novel to win the award in its first 25 years.

first for Life & Times of Michael K in 1983, and again for Disgrace in 1999.

John Maxwell Coetzee is one of my fav. Writers, which he simulate with Samuel Beckett that I worship. I think I have read "Waiting for the Barbarians" in Beckett's spirit.
