Try Bras Basah Complex downtown. It has quite a number of bookshops, including the biggest branch of Popular.
Bookshops are just about everywhere... Mostly in malls and shopping complexes but you will find that those are branches of Popular too.
Unless you are trying to locate bookshops that specialises in books of particular genre?
