I got stung by a sting ray in San Diego. My foot started to swell so I put it on ice for about 45 minutes it got so painful I finally called Poison Control and they said put it in hot water. It swelled so bad that my toenails fell off the foot. I also limped for three months. HOT DRAWS OUT POISON

When I tried to pass a 1/2" x 3/4" jagged edged kidney stone and had to have emergency surgery. The pain was so much worse than anything you could imagine. I have a child, and the natural delivery (no pain meds) was easy compared to the pain of trying to pass a kidney boulder.

i was pushed and fell in such a way that I broke most of the bones in my lower ankle/ foot. i swear i heard the bones crack. i had to crawl to get to a phone to get myself help while i saw my foot flop behind me at a strange angle. i now have 2 plates and 8 pins holding it all together. to this day i can't bear to have anyone touch me there. I don't even like to shave near the area. some of the pins kind of stick out. frankensteinish. sorry, other than that i'm not a freak! (smile!)

I have 3 kids, and those don't hurt as much as a toothache I think. My grandma got stung in the eye by a bee though, I can't say that doesn't sound like a painful experience.

After giving birth to my first daughter I had a hematoma in my uterus. By the time they discovered it, I was near death and there was no time to wait for an anesthesiologist. So, within one hour of giving natural birth, I had surgery without anesthesia in my uterus!!
