I once wanted to write a book about socks and pens. Socks always disappear when you wash them and pens seem to drop off the face of the earth. Where do they go? I mean, have you ever run out of ink, or do you lose your pen before that happens? Why do most pens come in big packages? Because they know that you will lose most, if not all of them. If you think about it, one pen should last a very long time. And my only answer for the sock thing is static cling. Check the inside of your shirts/pants that you haven't worn in a while.

Didn't your parents ever teach you about the sock monster that lives in the dryer?

Sorry, there is no thong monster, unless that's me :)

Or, maybe it's all just a conspiracy theory between the dryer companies and the sock manufacturers to keep the sock companies in buisiness. If we all only bought the socks we'd ever need in a lifetime, we'd never have to buy more socks. Hmm...
