my 13 yr old brother did it. he was squeezing the tube and it shot up into his eye. stupidly, he rubbed it, which made it spread and seal his eyelids completely together. the hospital said there wasnt much they could do. its about halfway open now. has anyone else ever done this? LOL. I dont suppose you know any tricks on how to fix it, or should we all just sit back and get a good chuckle? (doc says no damage is done)

Not my eyes, but when i was about his age i accidently super-glued my mouth shut! We were making shakers for a football game and there was super glue on one of the lids and i didn't realize it and got the glue on my fingers then i must have wiped my mouth. Anyways it was not fun at all, I used nail polish remover but i wouldn't try it on your brothers eyes, it burnt my lips and to be honest I don't think it helped any- I am pretty sure it came off because I picked at it some much and boy were my lips sore!

I actually had a boss that did this. She was screwing around and trying to glue some glass lamp thing. for some reason she blew on the lamp and the glued end splashed back and the glue went in her eyes. I don't know why she thought blowing on it was going to help.

i don't think the acetone thing is going to work well in the eyes. check the site below. They have a medical phone number to call.

good luck!

No eyelids but fingers yes. We used nail polish remover and it worked, just before careful not to get into his eyes.
