I've never heard anything like that, but even if it does don't you use it everyday anyway?

No, that is totally false. Your skin can't become dependent on face cream for dehydration, it produces natural oils that moisturize and won't 'forget' how to do that.

Face creams are entirely okay to use. All they do is help to protect the skin from weather, losing elasticity, retaining moisture, etc. Think of face creams as a shield for your skin, it's just an optional aid to help improve skin - face cream isn't an absolute necessity nor will your skin become dependent on it. :)

I have never heard that one, but I do know my lips become dependent on lip balm if I wear it all the time, ie. my lips become really dry without it. At the end of the day, if you use a face cream containing sun protection, vitamens, or some other benefit, I think wearing it is better than not.

No, its not true. Your body doesn't "forget" how to rehydrate, you are just helping it along.
Everyone can benefit from face cream, just get something that won't make you break out.
Anything oil-free, noncomedogenic, and fragrance free will do.

No way-- I don't think that idea is even plausible.
