i think it's like doppleganger or something wierd like that. i can't remember. It's like the theory that there is some else in the world that looks identical to you.

It's called a doppelganger, or more properly, Doppelgaenger or Doppelgänger.
It's not so much a theory as a superstition. Though nowadays in English it usually refers to a person seeing another person that looks just like them, in German tradition it's more like seeing your own ghost while you're still alive, and such an incident is a very bad omen.

It has to do with the brains image recognition software. When our eyes see something our brain tries to figure out what it is and the way that it does this is that it goes into its archive and digs out all the things that it knows and tries to match it to or at least match it closely to something that it knows. The actual way that thi sis done is to long to go into, but that is the basics. This is why we may see someone that that is a 'double' of someone else. However if we where to take a deeper look and Analyse them we would find many differences between the two people that we think look exactly the same. It may also be helpful to keep in mind that although there are said to be an infinite number of combinations, there actually are only about 100,000 basic combination that can be made out of the human body with about 1000 variations on these basic combinations. Yes it may be true. But it all depends in the eyes and even though the permutation and combination is infinite and great, Stil we are human race only. Similarly would u be in a position to tell difference between Tigers, parrots etc it will be difficult though identical.

I don't know the answer to that, but I believe it is possible. When i was a young girl, we were on a vacation. This lady kept yelling someone's name. I turned around and she took my picture. Then she kept staring at me! She only realized I was not her daughter when she noticed that I was wearing different clothes! Anyway, somewhere in the world there is a lady with a picture of me that looks just like her daughter. LOL

Every human on the face of this earth, Have the same ancestor in common. And having someone that looks just like you do is very possible. After blood testing the world, their blood line can be traced to one common ancestor and that is a scientific fact no matter what else you wish to believe............................. Try looking for how that blood line was traced via your computer and who is was traced to any you will find out how stupid it is to hate someone from another country, Simply because we are all related.............

You're right, its called a "Doppleganger" and its from Austrian/German folklore.
I remember something vaugly about if you meet your own one of you will die or something stupid.
