constant accelaration because it is defined as equal/uniform change in velocity in equal intervals of time i.e it is constant. In simple words constant itself means 'not changing with time'

Acceleration due to gravity donot change with time.It is the example for constant /uniform acceleration.This is because force applied on the object is constant.
