I'm working on a website and we need a very good technologist but at this stage we don't have a lot of money. However, it may ultimately be very profitable and we are looking for a young, creative web developer.

Should we approach universities? If yes, which ones? Where else should we post our advert.

I have personally started doing freelance web design, I currently am doing 3 websites for 3 seperate people and don't charge a lot.

I agree with the answer before me too, GumTree ( http://www.gumtree.com ) is a good place to place an advert for it.

it really depends on wich kind of guy/girl u're looking for.
http://www.gumtree.com is a good start and huge in london.

you could post ads in uk web resources like http://www.webmonkey.com
i guess it really depends if u need a designer or a semi-programmer.
find out what "language" you need to deal with and find a site where they have resources and a forum.

good luck

Try students. They are eager and cheap.
