How often do you experience a state of deep thought - not about people, relationships, or material things. Rather, of consciousness, reality, purpose, and perception? How often, honestly, do you have thoughts that DON'T revolve around the following: people and what they say or do, what you've said or done in the past, appointments, bills, errands, hunger or thirst, entertainment, politics, or religion.

Not only how often do you experience these thoughts, but what are a few example of thoughts you've had that don't fit into the above categories?

Sometimes once a day, sometimes just once a week. Depends on how distracted I am by this filthy reality. Usually these deep thoughts are of the nature of the universe, and how small our planet is in comparison to all that empty space. I also think about what it would be like after death, and all I get is this big blank. Kind of chilling, but we are not allowed to look into our next lives, just like we should not be able to look into out past lives.

I would say on a nearly daily basis.

Most often when I'm at work. Um... Some examples would be "wondering if their was a primate that is a preditor speicies who's primary pry item is primates." It turned out that there are a couple of them on Madagascar. They are lemer variations.

Um... today I was pretty mind fried so I ended up just pondering a story line about the life of a pro wrestler. Basically composing a work of fiction. Not a great day.

Last friday I was trying too come up with rules for music that didn't include eight notes but only five.

Can you add as additional information as too why you want too know?

Hope this helps.

I have never deeply thought about the frequency in which I have deep thoughts. I have thought about perception, primarily on how one sees truth, the nature and relevance of evidence, and so on, but I have rarely spent time pondering the meaning of self, the creation of the universe, and such. Frankly, such metaphysical, for lack of a better term, contemplations greatly bore me. I see them as a distraction from more pertinent, if not directly important, things.

I don't write down most of my thoughts, so an example would be hard to give at this time.

I don't usually experience a state of deep thought. very often do I consider myself to be in a state of deep thought. When I do have an experience, its more about the purpose of life and what difference can a normal person really make in this reality.

All the time,One that I have(of many) is kinda hard to visualize, that if time stood still, opened completly to every moment imaginable(each frame of everyones existance on this planet at one time) would I be solid with all and if possible would it look like a train(like trails if you were on something)locked together in one mass with each and everyone, past and present
I dont no if you know what i mean or how i visualize it but thats one of many little things i ponder on
