I am taking online classes and I need the product number from the cd that came with my computer...only I dont know where it is. Is there anyway I can get the product number without the cd?

One is you download Roc Xp which let you do much more than get your windows key
Another good tool is the belarc advisior which will list all the serial keys of all products in your sytem along with your sytem hardware and software specs

There's a free software program that will do it, assuming you're talking about the key ID for the operating system. Go to the below link, download the "keyfinder" program, and run it. Good luck.
