for convience food, you should buy them from those store under HDB flats as they are cheaper or at NTUC, Giant, Shop and Save, Cold storage, fresh food can be bought at wet market or NTUC,Giant, Shop and Save, Cold storage. NTUC, Giant, Shop and Save, Cold storage can be found at shopping centres or common places that can do shopping.
For eating should visit hawker centres as individual stalls sell food at very reasonable prices,

Excluding Costco and Sam's club, gas stations usually have great prices on soda 12 packs. Even better than grocery stores, and a lot of times cheaper than Target or Wal Mart too. Look for signs.
