I still remember it - I also remember when the Chronicles of Narnia was done as a series, although I can't remember if it was done on PBS or if it was BBC.
My only regret is that to this day, no one - at all - has ever done a series, movie, or even cartoon of the final book
The Magician's Nephew
Which tells the story of how Narnia came into existence, and how the White Witch came to Narnia. Mostly I think this is because of the religious implications, which tend to make many people get VERY upset. My thinking is - it's only a movie, get over it.

I remember it. I used to watch it on Channel 2 in NYC as a child. I recently watched the movie and loved it. I am still have a heart for the animated cartoon.

Yes, I do. I remember getting all upset after the witch tied Aslan down, shaved him and then killed him. Then the mice went up and chewed the muzzle off him..sniff sniff. It was a beautifully well done cartoon but very intence
