During my last pregnancy, and after giving birth 3 months ago, I've had this loud crack that I hear& feel when turning in bed, or squeezing my thighs together. It seems like it's my pelvic bones, but I thought this would go away after the pregnancy had finished!

Am I now doomed to be a freak of nature, or does anyone elses pelvic bones ever make that cracking sound (feeling)???

oH! I have this too :)
Basically what I think is that when you are pregnant, during the latter stages, your body disperses a hormone that softens your pelvic area to help assist with the actual birthing process of the baby coming down through the pelvic area, so your body/bones can stretch with the baby assuming you have a vaginal birth, (either way, it happens). After the baby is born, the hormones are obviously gone that cause this, and your body is getting back to normal. However its a process, and not immediate. I think your body is completely normal, and mine do it, My son is 2yrs old....

"The ligaments of the whole body soften during pregnancy due to the action of hormones. This allows the bones of the pelvis to separate slightly during the delivery to facilitate the passage of the baby’s head through the pelvis. "

Have an x-ray done. It is extremely possible to have broke a bone. The doc could give you more info.
