You can take heartburn meds with no problems. For the constipation try taking some fiber suppliments like metamucil or Benifiber. They are all safe to take while prego.

Good Luck! ♥

There are no medicines out there that have been proven 100% safe to use during pregnancy. Even Tylenol and other OTC meds that the docs say are OK to use in pregnancy are Class B drugs. The only way to know if something would be completely safe would be to actually test it on pregnant women and then see what happens. Since this is completely unethical and will never happen, all we can trust is the research that is done on animals. So if your Dr feels like the benefits of taking the med outweigh the risks then you should take it. If the yeast infection remains untreated it could lead to other more serious issues including causing your bag of water to be weakened by the infection. Good luck.

Don't take anything without clearing it with a doc. I'm 23 weeks pregnant and the only thing I'm allowed to take is Tylenol. As for heartburn, drink a glass of milk and it should calm it to a bearable amount. As for constipation, I suffer through it. I would do some research for a non medicinal way to ease it until you can clear something with your doc. Remember these are both symptoms to deal with throughout your pregnancy!

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY MEDICATIONS WITHOUT EVER CONSULTING YOUR DOCTOR, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE PREGNANT. THE HEARTBURN MIGHT BE DUE TO THE TYPE OF FOOD YOU ARE EATING. SO TRY AND CHANGE YOUR DIET. HAVING A CUP OF COLD MILK AT FREQUENT INTERVALS WILL HELP. THE HEARTBURN WILL COME BACK IN THE THIRD TRIMESTER. SO BE PREPARED. AS FOR YOUR CONSTIPATION, YOU HAVE TO START TAKING CARE RIGHT NOW BECAUSE THIS WILL GET WORSE WITH YOUR PREGNANCY AND AT THE LATER STAGES IT GETS REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE. SO HERE IS THE REMEDY THAT WORKED WONDERS FOR ME......HAVE PRUNES REGULARLY. AND ALL YOUR PROBLEMS WILL DISAPPEAR. HOPE THIS HELPS. TAKE CARE. CONGRATULATIONS.

Try Rennie, its for heartburn and is safe for pregnant women. It was in a little pregnancy showbag I got from a Chemist. They are just little chews. I heard that a very small dose of prune juice is natural and okay to have and sooths the constipation problem?

If the Food you are eating is causing this then change what you eat!(Lots of Fruit is a Great way to balance out Your Stomach acids!)
Other than that-try pepto bismol!(Always works, and as far as I believe has NO detrimental effects on Your baby)
Get to you Doctors as soon as Possible though!
