Shallow means not very deep. It can be quite advantageous, e.g. a shallow pool is safe for swimming and a shallow ore is easy to mine.

Shallow (adj.)- If your talking about love, it means you'll only take certain things, not going for what is important or what you can actually benefit for something more. I dont know what it would mean for anything else.

If someone calls you shallow their perception is that you are void of deep or profound thoughts. That you only ponder at the surface level. Simplistic
