1-The sports book at the Las Vegas Hilton is far and away the best...Caesars Palace would be second, but if you want to watch NFL football there you had better get there VERY early to get a seat..

2-Ghostbar at the Palms

3-If you're playing, they will bring you drinks for free. Though you really should tip the cocktail waitress, at least if you want to see her again anytime soon.BTW you can play nickel VP in the sports book at the LV Hilton...

4-Slots-A-Fun has a $1 table all the time, Ellis Island has one table Mon/Fri from noon to 4pm..Downtown there are a couple of places with $2 tables>California and Golden Gate...California is your best bet if you want to play low level BJ...

5- http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com "VEGAS INFO" >activities> there you'll find info on all the free/fun things to do in LV..

5B-Fountains of Bellagio/The Eiffel Tower at Paris is an awesome place to watch the fountains. Caesars Palace/Forum Shops,Top of the Stratosphere. If you go to the Hilton, check out the Space Quest bar, specifically the mens room :) you may have to wait for the ladies to clear out, more women go in there than men I think...Buccaneer Bay at Treasure Island, the show starts about 5:30 and runs every 90min..Fremont Street, after dark, the show runs on the hour..Cars? the Imperial Palace has an incredible display

If you're into critters - The White Tigers at Mirage - The Lion Habitat at MGM - Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay..

The best thing to do is to check out the LVA site, there are enough things going on in LV that if you had months you could not do them all...

1. Caesar's Palace has the best sportsbook in my opinion. Huge screens, comfy chairs, and private tables with smaller tv screens that you can set to the game of your choice.

2. I'm a big fan of the Ghost Bar at the Palms and of Light at Bellagio.

3. Anywhere that you're gambling, you can get free drinks. If you're at a sportsbar they'll bring drinks as long as you have bets in.

4. Slots A Fun is the only one dollar blackjack I know of.

5. You must walk the strip at night. It's free, it's fun, and it's a great chance for people watching. You must check out the fountain show at the Bellagio. My favorite place to watch it is from the patio of the Fontana Bar inside the Bellagio, but you need to buy a drink (1 drink minimum) if you want to hang out on the patio. Otherwise you can watch the show for free from the sidewalk.
