I've reached my limit for answers.
When does a "day" start?
I'm on the East coast.
Also, I'm supposed to be able to answer 60.
I counted, I only answered 58.
What's up with that?
Has anyone else ever counted? Been short?

I counted the other night. I think I answered a couple more than the 80 I'm supposed to get. And I never really could figure out when a "day" starts on here. It's not midnight, because I tried right after midnight one night and still couldn't answer any for about 2 more hours.

I think that it depends on what time zone you are in. It was 3:00 a.m. for me, here in Michigan, but now that the daylight savings time here changed again, I don't know if it is 1, 2, or 3 in the morning, as I don't know what other time zones do with daylight savings -- I don't know if it is something that is done nation wide. But I think that is how it works. I'm not sure. Not much help, eh, I"m going to watch this question also. And I'll take DAniel's suggestion to go to "bugs and fixes" or whatever it is. But yeah, midnight and the time zone thing....

I asked this same question when I first started, and found out that a day starts at midnight Pacific time (must be YA headquarters), so, count back or forward depending on the time zone you live in.
So far as counting answers? Get a new hobby, that one is an exercise in futility. Welcome to the wonderful, arbitrary world of YA!

I would go by the time that you answered your first question (so 58 questions ago) and your new day will start 24 hours after that. When you click on that answer it'll tell you what time you answered it (how many hours ago will be shown under your answer.) If you still want to make some points today, you can always vote!!

i've been there when i was in level 1 & 2 but i've never counted my answers...
& i never had an idea when a day starts... lol

every new day starts at 12:00 at night
you can look in the " bugs and fixes " if you go to the very bottom of the page and click on the button that says " Tell us what you think "

It is kinda irritating Normally they wont let me answer until 9:00am in South-Africa but luck ally I didn't answer this weekend so I can answer the whole day.

If you started inbetween days they count that too..They normally don't cheat you..Whatever time you started you have to start again when 24 hours is up.
Example: If you started answering questions at 4pm and are done by 1 that morning,you can't do it again till 4pm the next day..Hope it helps..
