Hehe..sometimes I am. But who doesn't feel that way when you get that one really long word in a crossword puzzle? As far as somebody else's mind, I suppose I have my moments.

Probably. I have a T-shirt which states that I am, which somebody gave me once, so I guess she was not joking. Hmmmm. Nothing wrong with being misguided though, is there? Yep, I guess I am a legend in my own mind. But in truth, I AM a legend. I was around playing rock and roll when it first started back in the 1950's. I played all over the world touring with everything from rock to country bands for 45 years. I never was a star, though I played with a bunch of them. I was happy just to stay in the back row and play my piano, get my pay and go home to my wife and kids sane and sober. You probably have heard me play because I also worked in recording studios and played on a bunch of records, albums and cd's that got some heavy air time. I'm not gonna tell you which ones I played on, or who I played with because I am a nobody who just did his job the best he could and never wanted any glory. Annonymity is just fine with me. I can walk down the street and nobody notices. I know what I did and who I played with, and that's all the counts. Sooooo, since I am the only one who knows or cares (besides the lady who gave me the T-shirt) that I am a legend, I guess I really am a legend in my own mind. Actually, I preferred being a legend in my SPARE time!. The lady who gave me the T-shirt gets most of that. She was the only one who realized what I accomplished and how hard I worked all my life to just be--------nobody. Did I make up this little story? Nope. Every word was the truth. I am the one, the only, the original, the oldest and the best unknown rock and roll piano player on the face of the earth------------the true------legend in his own mind, still married to Mrs. Legend in his Own Mind. It's been fun. I wish you all could have a great a life as I have been blessed with. Try hard enough, and you can!

What do you think is a legend? What one finds as being a legend is usually just hype. Most people are just people and the further we delve into history we find the great legends had many flaws and were not what people have built them up to be. If you are speaking of legends as people with wealth ask the ones that have squandered their wealth and are legendary bums now. Many so called legends lose their status overnight because of drugs, health, getting older, loss of public appeal, fads, etc. What is a true legend? To me it is just hype. Fluff. You can make yourself out to be whatever you like and if it makes you feel better then go for it. Your avatar if it is a photo of you seems very posed. Perhaps your avatar tells me you think highly of your own lengendary status based on your youth and good looks which is very fleeting believe me. Try that same pose twenty years and three kids from now.

I am far from a legend. Legend, for its active and passive participants, includes no happenings that are outside the realm of "possibility"

Hell yeah! I like to think I'm a legend in my husband's mind also, since he said he would never get married. We've been married for a year and a half now.

In my mind.
I am the legend with being totally completely being obssessed with talking to inanimate objects.
I talked to a sofa once..
It was a really long conversation...
and also our shower..
it said it has terrified with what it sees everyday..
poor thing..
i think we need to take it to the hospital soon
it's getting sick...
I'm a legend to my cousin's eyes..
she thinks i know everything, when i just make up stories half the time...
like when i pinched an elephants belly-bottun..
that was fun..

I'm not a legend, I'm a god (that is in my mind). Don't really care what other people think and why should I.
