Sorry, I've never been curious to find out how the side-walk tastes.

If you really ARE doing it a lot, I would try to put a stop to it,, starting today....or else you are a candidate for becoming a person with an obsessive compulsive behavior. (meaning : you just HAVE to do some things, cuz if you don't you panick! )

One way of trying to get rid of this behavior :
Make a deal with yourself : today an tomorrow you're only allowed to lick the sidewalk 3 times. Notice how it tastes, so after three times you can tell yourself you REALLY don't need to be curious anymore for the rest of the day....you KNOW how it tastes.
In three days you're only allowed to lick the sidewalk 2 times.....well, you get my drift.

If you cannot stop this behavior, or worse, start having to DO other irrational things as well, like checking ten times if you've turned off the gas, before you can leave home for school or work.....go to your GP, tell him/her ALL about your problem, and make sure you get professional help to put a stop to this behavior while you still can. (it is known that ppl. with obsessive compulsive behavior develop more than just the one tic....and if you don't get rid of it now, it will take over your life.)

Have a scared you enough?
Good, cuz you should be, before you can try to stop this.

Good luck!

LMFAO! hahaha omg this is really cracking me up!! ROFL!!

Nope i have never licked the side walk. Eww ppl walk over it and dogs pee over it too..lol.

You're pretty extreme when youre curious aye.

I think you might have a mental disorder. Seriously, im not being
mean.

I think you have OCD.

Here's a definition of OCD from Wikipedia.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive, distressing, intrusive thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.

The phrase "obsessive-compulsive" is often used in an offhand manner to describe someone who is meticulous or absorbed in a cause.

To be diagnosed with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, one must have either obsessions or compulsions alone, or obsessions and compulsions.

Obsessions are defined by:

Recurrent and persistent thoughts, impulses, or images that are experienced, at some time during the disturbance, as intrusive and inappropriate and that cause marked anxiety or distress.
The thoughts, impulses, or images are not simply excessive worries about real-life problems.
The person attempts to ignore or suppress such thoughts, impulses, or images, or to neutralize them with some other thought or action.
The person recognizes that the obsessional thoughts, impulses, or images are a product of his or her own mind.

Compulsions are defined by:

Repetitive behaviors or mental acts that the person feels driven to perform in response to an obsession, or according to rules that must be applied rigidly.
The behaviors or mental acts are aimed at preventing or reducing distress or preventing some dreaded event or situation; however, these behaviors or mental acts either are not connected in a realistic way with what they are designed to neutralize or prevent or are clearly excessive.

Hope that helped. Click on the link below for more info.

You'd better watch that the sidewalk might get offended, or lick you back.

No, but in grade 7, I used to stick rocks up my nose. Usually for no reason, sometimes I got paid a quarter.
Though, you really gotta stop lickin the sidewalk, people pee on it.

That was my last drill weekend exercise.

Right after that we started on the subway handle bar then to the public bus seats.

They want us to see how the new experimental vaccine is working on us. I feel fine now.
