You have to remove your hardware otherwise it will be detected and your Operating System will re-install the drivers for it.

if u r still not comfortable with the software and hardware ... please do not try to use any of the above things... call ur sofware or hardware engineer as these suggestions are for those not having data on the primary disk and also who are just for R&D on their computer to increase knowledge....

1) if u r using winxp... then it will automatically add ur t.v. tuner card as soon as it detects it... so make sure u remove it .....

2) if u are good at softwares and hardware then do the following... remove the hardware from hardware divices list and then shut down the pc remove ur tuner card... remove the installed softwares from add/remove then restart the p.c. if its still there...

3) i recommend it if u can do this well because if not done properly ur pc will shut down... go to run ... and type regedit.. in that go to edit menu find... place the name of the software and press find u will get the links u then press find next to search next links in the registry...u will have to delete them and then the software will be removed...

First, Re-install the software to put back any missing 'installation/uninstalltion files'. Then, go to DEVICE Manager and REMOVE the hardware from there. You don't have to actually physically remove the hardware, just remove it from Device Manager. Now either click Refresh, or just restart your computer and the new hardware will be detected along with your fresh installation of the software. good luck :-)

Its simple first find the location of the files installed and delete the files manually. then open the registry using the regedit command by selecting start-> run and type regedit. the registry editor is opened. in that window select the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and expand the software option in that select the name of your software and delete it. before doing you may create a backup of the registry by select the menu file->export to recover the original in case of crash. then restart the machine the software is surely removed from your computer
