a. try using the equation

f = ma
2f=m/2 a
4f=ma
4f/m = a
f/m = a/4

therefore a is 1/4 as great.

Everybody knows that f=ma
In another way a=f/m ---------(1)

i.e acceleration is directly propotional to force and inversely propotional to mass.

force is doubled i.e f becomes 2f and
mass is halved i.e m becomes m/2
so from (1) you get a=4f/m
a=4 times the earlier value

Acceleration equals force divided by mass. If mass is halved, then its effect on acceleration is to double it. Now include the effect of doubling the force.

If F=ma,
then a = F/m

plug in your numbers....
2F / 1/2m = 4F/m

If F/m = a then,

4F/m = 4a

Answer is 4 times greater.

ans=d
its acc become 4 times of initial one
f=m*a-(1)
2f=m/2*a`-(2)
div. 1by2
gives a`=4a
