Don't go through with any major surgery on a spur of the moment thing. Have you had this thought for years, since like childhood? If so, then maybe. Are you just depressed and feeling a little of the grass is greener on the side thing? Then absolutely not. Your problems won't leave you if you become the other gender. If this is a serious contemplation, seek professional guidance. They will have the tools to help you work through why you like this would be good for you, so you can decide if that's the life altering choice you want to make. I do NOT suggest that you make this type of decision on your own, or even based on the answers you receive here. Think long and hard about this. Its a lot of money to spend on a whim that you could end up regretting for the rest of your life. And, I hate to say it, but don't just consider yourself. This would have a huge impact on your family, friends, and whole life. Ultimately it would be your choice, but you need to fully explore the concept before deciding.

Why would you think it'd be better to live as a woman? Consider this, woman:
*pee sitting down-extra 3 minutes in bathroom, annoying
*always trying to look pretty-haircare gets pricey(brushes, products, blowdrying, irons...)-makeup, we buy it every month and takes extra 5-15 minutes- exfoliating-shaving-tanning-waxing-getting nails done
*always worring about weight
*shopping for clothes, it's an addicting and pricey habbit, following up on "trends", buying jewelry...
*wearing pantyhoses, pain in the as$
*heels 'nough said
lol
Look you should just be happy with yourself and I know you're going to get a lot of people saying that, but you are what you are. Why try to change your whole body-ruin God's creation? If you're depressed about who you are now than maybe you should see a psycologist(no offense or anything). I personally would say don't do it. And beleive me, I've thought of the same thing before, but never really serious about it. I mean you don't want to do anything you'll regret either. This is a serious life altering thing you're thinking about! And it may sound mean, but it'll also impact others and how others percieve you. Just don't do it out of a spur of the moment-think about it, go over why you want this and do you REALLY want to-why? Do you think this would make you happier-why? Will it solve your problems-how? ...be wise about your decision!

This is a huge decision to make. I would suggest making a chart of the pros and cons of the decision. There has to be a reason for it. I wouldn't simply go out and get a sex change if it was something I had just thought of; however, give it some time, and if it something that is still prominent in your mind, then go for it. Science is advanced enough for those who want to use it. Good luck either way!

Stay who you are at the moment, and do "surgery" on your life.

if this feeling just came to you recently, don't do it. that would be a snap decision and you would probably regret it. please reconsider!
