Why don't we see more Asian Male/Black Female relationships?

I haven't seen this type of interracial couple in day to day life or even in the media.

I think it has a lot more to do with culture/tradition than personality differences. Most Asians frown on interracial relationships and most value their families opinions in matters such as these [which can be seen by traditional arranged marriages in that part of the world that still goes on today. They might have migrated from the East to the West, but tradition and values don't fade easily; especially for the sons who might feel pressured to go along with their family's wants than their own].

Neither have I! I don't know why that might be. But I'm sure they exist. One reason that they might be in the minority is that sometimes Asians are known for being very polite, quiet, mild-mannered (by socializiation), whereas many African American women are encouraged to be somewhat loud and "out there", so they might seem mismatched (although that doesn't prevent them from getting together; opposites do attract!). But this isn't true of all blacks or Asians.

That's one thing that comes to mind, but I don't know that it's the definitive answer.

I think their personalities might clash a little. Both black women and Asian men tend to be a little domineering. While there are always exceptions, even these stereotypes can create limits on social interaction.

Aaliyah and Jet Li made a great couple in "Romeo Must Die." I think if people see more relationships like this on TV, then it might be more accepted. I think a lot of misinformation is the main reason people wont venture into bi-racial relationships. If people keep hearing stereotypes all of the time, they might end up believing them.

Well it's not that many!!! but I've seen one out at the airport, with 2 very nice looking little boys. i think they like black women, but they think black women are all the same!!! sadly because Asian people can sell black women anything and they will buy it. Pink, red, yellow hair and so. so now they think all black women really don't have their own hair. but little do they know all black women are not the same.i hope this explain most of why it's not a lot of Asian men and Black women Dating!!!

Asian guys see Black women dominant, where as Asians guys are nothing more than geek looking individuals. Black women, are the kind of women that demands, talks loud in some cases to her man, hugs and kisses in public, and for an Asian guy he is too shy or too geek for that. FACT.

this is the least likely pairing....if you take into account statistics...black women and asian men are least likely than any other group to date/marry outside the race....

black women prefer black men b/c they want black children...while asian men prefer asian women b/c of the stereotypes about non-asian women...this creates a problem b/c 22% of asian women in this country marry outside their race while only 11% of asian men do....but they tend to marry white....not so much as black.

Probably cause the Asian Male thinks that the Black Female is too wild for him, I know I would think so. Dude it all depends on what kind of person they are okay? Race has almost nothing to do with this.

Asian males are too dominating and no "sista" is gonna put up with that crap. Not for all the money in the world. And if they aren't dominating they are sissy,mama boys whose asian wives walk all over their butts.
