Definitely not. Some agreement is amenable and even necessary. But there would be no spice, nothing interesting if everything talked about or any topic brought up was instantly agreed upon. Plus, its important to have someone who thinks differently from you so you have more ideas to choose from than just the ones that you come up with.

If my husband and I agreed on everything we would be really bored. Differences of opinion lead to discussions which lead to discovering new points of view about many interesting topics.
However, when it comes to the really key issues (political for example) it is beneficial to a relationship if both partners agree for the most part, or else develop the ability to either not discuss them or else to agree to disagree. There are enough trials that need to be dealt with in life. Getting along with your spouse should not be one of them.

I am married, and no. A general agreement on important issues like parenting and religion and the such. But total agreement would freak me out. I need intelligent stimulation not a yes man.

No mate, have you heard the saying opposites attract? Life will be pretty dull if you agree on everything. I find that women from different cultures to you own are great!

do you want kids?
if so, how many?

No way! I need debate. i need an opposing point of view once in a while. I'm not into yes men they are just prostitutes. I'd be better off having conversations with myself. (they stick you in the loony bin for that, you know).
