NO,

it was because Joseph Stalin (birth-name Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili) after Vladimir Lenin's (Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov was his birth-name) warped and destroyed what Karl Marx (Karl Heinrich Marx) and Friedrich Engels had envisioned communism to be. Joseph Stalin did not hesitate killing anybody and anyone to stay in power. He did not negotiate the release of his son when he was captured by the Germans at the infamous German-Soviet battle lines aka the Russian front. His son died as a prisoner of war.

He should had been tortured and allowed slowly.

They are no longer a communist nation ,BUT President Vladimir V Putin was a former KGB colonel and is corrupt. He caters to rich Russians and forgets the poor ones.

My answer does not meet the essay criteria.

I don't plan to write an essay on the topic, but while Russian people have a right to celebrate whatever they want in their own history, the Russian Revolution was not something that would seem to be something to celebrate.

(Any chance you mean the more recent changes in the Soviet Union? That would be something they should celebrate.)
