Really, there are a lot of them in L.A. In my history class a "vampire" gave his oral report on the histoy of vampirism (very good by the way, smart guy) .He concluded his report with a toast to all vampires everywhere. He then proceeded to pull out an ornate golblet from a black velvet bag. He placed it on the table, then pulled out a silver flask. He pours the contents of the flask, yes it's blood, into the goblet and takes a swig. He explians that it is real blood, given by donors who support vampire clubs. My teacher, surprisingly, does not seem shocked, instead he says" the funny thing is, you are actually the second guy to do this in my class." My teacher is real young too!

Some lunatic murdered an elderly lady in Scotland a few years ago and drank her blood. The operative word being lunatic. Do these "vampires " take any other nutrition as surely all a real vampire would need is blood and plenty of it.
These people should stick to reading Anne Rice novels and wearing period costumes

Some kids support vampires, which is bad. Vampires are a supernatural infection that needs to be exterminated. I have killed many vampires in my time, and it irritates me to see stupid kids obsessing over such wicked creatures. Just how people support werewolves, witchcraft, and other overtly vile things. The kid is misled, I've seen too many people die because they think they'll be accepted as a 'member of the club' and embraced as a vamp. I've hunted them for more years than I'll admit, and trust me, the guy doesn't know what he's getting in to.

it's a cult, they believe that they are spiritual vampires--the cult started out as a role playing game, vampire the masquerade LARP(live action role play) and then wannabe cult leaders started incorporating rituals and peices of vampire lore from anne rice and dracula to flesh out the religios aspect--in short they believe they have performed a ritual that binds their soul to that of a demon through a process called "spirit matrimony"--most of these people are outcasts anyway and feel like they are somehow seperated form the rest of human society, so they easily fall into this new, glamourous, romanticised, hollywood vampire imagery

They like the shock value of the claim. They are seriously attention starved and possibly deranged. Ask him to point out all the catholics in the class so you all know who is worthy of vampiric persecution.

Uh-huh. Didn't think so.
