Well, I have the Treo 700p, so I assume it's done the same way, just copy your mp3's to the SD card and point your music player to the card.

The easiest way is to get a card reader and put all the music files onto the SD card using the card reader and then put the SD card in your Treo. But most people may not have a card reader, although card readers are cheap nowadays.

You can also use something like CardExport II

or

Card reader

http://www.palmgear.com/?xyz=112451 (there's a special price on it for $8.95 until Nov 7)

Which will allow you to access the SD card on the Treo very much like you can with a card reader.

Again, drag and drop your music files onto the SD card.

Or, you can hotsync the files over but that can take minutes if not HOURS (depending on how many files you're transferring)

Or use the transfer capability in RealPlayer or Windows Media to do it, but again, they can be clumsy and not very easy to do.
