Trick or treating happens in the US, Canada, England, and Ireland, and may be catching on in Australia I've heard.
There is a Mexican celebration, too, but someone from Poland told me it's really not big there. But I do know it is celebrated in different areas of the world.

Many countries don't celebrate Halloween such Iran, Irak, Malaysia, etc (especially Muslims Countries / Non-Secular Countries, bcause not their culture).
Countries celebrate halloween Austarlia, Filipine, etc(Secular Countries).

The US and Canada are the main ones. A few people do it in the UK and Australia, but it's more just people looking to score free lollies than anything. If you asked them the meaning of halloween, they wouldn't have a clue.

well i dont know about countries, but when i was living in jax,florida, a LOT of peopel didnt celebrate halloween because they were realy religious and they believed that it was the devil's holiday..

Despite how much Tokyo seems to LOOOOVE costumes ALL THE TIME, most people here admit to being pretty clueless as far as Hallowe'en is concerned. So Japan...not so much. A few bars have parties, but that's about it.
