At present. India is the worst team. Poor batting, poor bowling, poor fielding, poor planning, poor strategy, poor captain, poor administration, poor selection. Indian team is replete with a number of "poor".
I am disgusted with. I dread the fate, India is going to meet in the coming world cup.
I owe it to the Coach and the captain.

Nice word choice, 'busted'! I think you are being very polite there because I really feel there are much better words of praise for the Indian team's bull**** performance yesterday. Bloody, wasting people's hopes, time, money, happiness and what not! Sitting 7 hours in front of the Tv set to watch these jackasses lose!
Our team is only good on paper! And the only time we win is when there is a really big one-man contribution. The real thing that has been lacking in this Indian team since the WC2003 finals is team spirit. India has stopped playing collectively as a team to win! Yes, I agree that they collectively play to lose!
Indians never learn lessons from great teams! That was the biggest problem yesterday! McGrath and Bracken bowled far too many yorkers towards the end, which is why we couldnt score even with Dhoni at the crease! And given that the pitch is a fine one, I thought 249 was a lost cause. That was a 300 pitch as demonstrated by Pathan and Munaf giving laddoos to Australian batsmen to smash around the park!
What best team in the world? Bull****!

Sorry sir. India is not the best team in the world. Please stand corrected. India was never the best team in the world. Except for some abberations, Indian cricket team has never won any major tournament in the recent past. It has lost to all the teams. It is just the hype attatched to this game that makes it difficult for you to accept this fact. Fitness, professional approach and team work are needed to be the best in the world.
It is people like us who support this game that get hurt most. The big companies like Pepsi etc make a joke out of love of the country and patriotism.
Support other games as well. There are hardly 6 -7 countries that play good cricket in the world. There is nothing great in being 5th or 6th in the world. When the team performs consistently for two or three years, you can call it a world class team.
As for Shewags, Tendulkars or Pathans they perform once in every 6 or 7 matches. What is needed is a team effort !!!

Defeat against Australia was due to many reasons such as:
1) Due to inexplicable reasons one additional batsman
was taken in place of a bowler. Rakesh Power
should have been included in the team in place
of Dinesh Mongia. Ramesh Powar is also capabe
of scoring the same amount of runs scored by Dinesh
Mongia or more
2) Batsmen failed to accelerate in the middle overs. They
should have tried to accelerate the rate of scoring after
30 or 35 overs.
3) Dhoni should have been sent to bat ahead of Kaif.
4) Suresh Raina was a total failure with the bat. When he
came to bat what was required was acceleration in the
scoring and not securing the wicket. He wasted few
overs with defensive play. Irfan Pathan should have been
sent to bat ahead of Raina.
5) Both Munaf Patel and Irfan bowled very badly, which
allowed Australian Batsmen to dominate the proceedings

To put it simply, the Indian cricket team is not the best in the world. The Australians won because they are the best team in the world, and have been for many years.

Australia played better than India (as they usually do against all teams and thus rightly called the 'world champions of cricket') ...
Stars don't win matches - good players do (and then become stars) ...
A teams performance is not measured by the number of TV commercials / media campaigns its players take part in - it is measured by the number of matches it wins / the number of runs it scores / the number of wickets it takes ...

Had they try to do ha hoo india in the field than on tv for a month
results will definately be much better,If performance is neccesary
for ganguly to make the team than I presume same criteria should also be for tendulkar and sehwag as for last one year they both failed to deliver against good teams,I think bcci put ban on crickters on appering on tv commercials so they can concentrate on their game

Friend U said we are the Best team in the world... Nope we are not... Agreed we have a lot of Great players in the world and the best players in the world but the real problem is they always failed to play together as the best team. But we cant blame them completly for this, Many of the blame should go to we Indians who put them in a pressure cooker every time they are in the ground... We are with them in their sucess every time and when they fails we wack our back and start criticising them like hell.. And at time I feel we never allow them to play their natural game ...

To win match's, any team requires winning formula. Australians are now becoming masters of formulation in cricket, Indian's have to go long way to match International standards.
Australia delievered as per their think tank's requirement. If you had seen yesterdays match, had you observed Ricky Ponting's body language a very desperate captain to win the match and on ohter side our Rahul Dravid - OOH,AAH, INDIA !!!!!!!! God knows when we will look ahead to win seriously not because of poor performance of other team.

I will say that India is not in form.We want our Bengal tiger(Ganguly) back into the cricket. He is one who know to select the correct team and make it win.I prefer Rahal is not suitable for captain for long time.Captain should me aggressive.Ganguly is the one who can change the state of India.I will say the team which was under the ganguly in 2003 is the good team. The new bowlers are not that much good.

Oh u didnt mentoin Sachin??? He is the best player no doubt .......and Autralia was better team technicaly, so the result was very much expected.Indian team was not well organised n they had shown flaws in fielding, bowling n also batting wasnt that impressive as 250 target was not a safe one.....secondly the conditions favoured Australia .....so..... cheers !!! better luck next time.
