Don't get him the Clapper...."clap on, clap off, claponclapoff....THE CLAPPER.
That's what my grandma got my brother when he was 14. It was funny.
I have a 14 year old son. Itunes cards if he has an ipod. Gift cards or cash.
Can't go wrong with cold, hard cash.

I'd say if he's any thing like my grandson he would prefer a video game or a music CD, that is what they always ask for. Sometimes one of those pre-paid credit cards work, that way they can buy any-thing they want. Just don't go for clothes, we always seem to buy them something they would never wear.

gameboy ds, or gameboy advance, games
video games (if he has a computer), playstation..
check out what kind of "gadgets" he has at home, which video game console, like xbox, etc. and buy games appropriate for it
non-electronic gifts could be trading cards, like Yu-gi-oh or Magic the gathering. does he like baseball or other sports cards?
some other fun things are chemistry sets, electronic sets, model cars you can put together, fancy yo-yos, coin collections, etc. whatever his hobby is

i dont understand whats incorrect with those human beings speaking with reference to the way you should be arrested, you're his uncle, and his mothers and dads understand you're no longer a pedophile, so as that they'd desire to close up. yet i'm 15, and that i could prefer to play with the wii, and bypass on your pool...yet relying on what style of youngster he's you will understand what he desires to do. attempt asking him like they pronounced. if he likes activities it relatively is critical to take him working or right down to the pool or despite. if he's greater of a nerd, it wouldnt be any use to deliver him exterior...if he's in between a superb stability of the two sounds stable. yet with the hair concern and gazing movies, you need to in all probability in simple terms depart it on the flicks, and not do his hair. lol.
